Agricultural Fairs

Caledon is home to three agricultural fairs which have been held for over 150 years. Enjoy traditional animal shows, baking, craft and vegetable competitions along with mid-way rides, musical entertainment, demolition derbies and more.

Downey's Farm Market (April to December)

Downey's is a family fun destination offering attractions, events and a play area along with the freshest, locally grown fruits and vegetables direct from the field - from strawberries, raspberries and sweet corn to squash and pumpkins. Checkout what's in season!

The Market is also well known for a bakery offering fresh baked goods, lunch items and fudge. Be sure to try the pumpkin donuts!

On site you will also find Downey's Estate Winery offering award winning fruit wines, dessert wines and iced wines. Most of the fruit used in the wines are harvested directly from Downey's own fields and orchards.

Albion Orchards & Country Market (August to December)

Open August to December this Market - voted as one of the top orchards in Canada for 4 years - offers a large variety of apples. Pick your own or purchase by the bag. In the fall the selection of pumpkins is second to none!

Be sure to stop into the Country Store for a great selection of homemade pies, fresh picked produce, apple cider or vinegar, local honey, fudge, jams and jellies.

 Dixie Orchards (August to October)

From the end of August to the end of October, Dixie Orchards offers a large variety of apples for sale in their store or pick your own and pumpkins in the fall. Kids of all ages can't resist the corn maze, petting zoo, straw jump and wagon rides (on weekends). Stop in to the Country Bakery to pick up fresh baked goods or same apple cider and grab some lunch from the weekend BBQ.
