Visit Caledon East

Caledon EastCaledon East is a smaller community of approximately 5000. Explore a gourmet food shop, Gourmandissimo and Howard the Butcher never disappoint, and park at a Town facility to cycle, ride, ski or walk the Caledon Trailway.

Just east of Airport Road on the trail you'll find the Trans Canada Trail Pavilion, a developing arboretum, extensive gardens, and Caledon's Walk of Fame.

The Villa Caledon Inn & James McCarty Pub, just north of Caledon East, offers great food and libation all set in a historic building on a breathtaking property. Also nearby is Rock Garden Farms, a family run on-farm market offering fresh local fruit and vegetables, flowers, baked goods and an opportunity to pick-your-own.

The third weekend in June brings Caledon Day. This not-to-be-missed annual event has music, food, family activities, and a "big name" concert all topped off with an amazing fireworks display. And yes it's (almost) free!

Wondering about the history of this Village and some of the great 19th century buildings? Take a stroll back in time with a Self-Guided Heritage Walking Tour.

Why not extend your stay in Caledon, there's accommodations to suit every taste and price point. The Hampton Inn & Suites is nearby in Bolton and there are a number of exceptional B&Bs close to Caledon East.
