The BFC-Restaurant located at the Brampton Flight Centre is a great spot for breakfast or lunch. There is lots of free parking and plenty of space for friends to gather - the BFC is even close to the trails for biking, hiking or flying! The atmosphere is unique with a view of the airport and small aircraft taking off and landing, if the winds are right.


Badlands Brewing Co. is an on-farm brewery in Caledon, Ontario. Specializing in IPAs, they've also got a deep affinity for farmhouse ales, crispy lagers and mixed fermentation sours. Since day one, they have believed in the same fundamentals: quality and freshness above all else. Visit the bottle shop or heated patio on Saturdays and grab a pint of local.


In the summer of 1989 Banty's Roost opened with just nine holes and a trailer. More than 25 years later, they are proud to be one of the friendliest places to tee it up. With three courses offering 27 challenging holes at over 6,800 yards, Banty's Roost is suited to all levels of golfers. Be sure to stop in and check out their 15,000 sq ft club house and fully stocked pro-shop.


Belfountain Conservation Area is located on the Niagara Escarpment in the West Credit River Valley. This 32 acre property features a suspension bridge that spans a beautiful waterfall, a fountain, other historic structures and a connection to the Bruce Trail.


The Brampton Flight Centre is owned and operated by the Brampton Flying Club. The BFC is an innovative, thriving, member-owned organization that strives for excellence in the products and services offered. The high quality flight training programs taught by Transport Canada licensed flight instructors have provided pilots the skills and knowledge to enable them to achieve their flying goals.

The Caledon Townhall Players (CTHP) had their first performance of “Angels Unawares” in June 1962 in the Old Townhall, in the Village of Caledon. The Cheltenham General Store is a small country shop located in the scenic village of Cheltenham Ontario. This historic, stone structure was built in 1887 by Fred Haines after a large fire tore through downtown Cheltenham destroying the businesses. Careful to retain its unique charm, the Judge family purchased and renovated the store in August 2008 creating a site for local patrons and tourist alike to enjoy the convenience of multiple services in one place - including accommodation.

Caledon is a bike-friendly community. Whether it's a road bike, fat bike or mountain bike, Caledon's roads and trails offer unique cycling experiences.

Selling locally produced beef, lamb, chicken, pork, maple syrup, honey and seasonal vegetables. They also offer local delivery (12km radius of the farm) on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month.


Rustic park on the Humber River, with three beach volleyball courts, seasonal portalet, parking and picnic area. A regulation soccer field is accessed from Hickman Street. Features also include Peace Park within the main park, and a playground accessed by foot bridge over the river. A path with limestone screenings surface goes around the park perimeter. Nearby access to the Humber Valley Heritage Trail.


Dixie Orchards offers a variety of pick your own apples available at different times throughout the season plus a large pick your own pumpkin patch. Their hazelnut orchard is a unique experience where you can learn how to pick your own nuts. The whole family will enjoy winding through the corn maze, watching the farm animals play, posing for a picture or enjoying a snack from the market.


At Downey's Farm Market prides themselves in providing our customers with only the freshest, locally grown fruits and vegetables direct from the fields in Ontario. They grow their own strawberries, raspberries, sweet corn, squash, as well as the thousands of pumpkins that cover the market's front lawn every October. Check back often to see what's in season.


Caledon is a prime destination to view some of the most regal autumn foliage in Ontario. Many of our small hamlets are popular destinations during this season.


Chef Fiona Riley pairs flavours from her West Indian heritage (she was born in Jamaica) with Canadian favourites — she serves Jamaican bammy, festivals and plantains, along with chicken wings with a dozen sauce choices. Visit this cozy restaurant off of Highway 10, south of Caledon Village, for a taste of the Caribbean in Caledon.

Kooner Farms is a family farm in Caledon, operating since 1988. The family’s fields have always been farmed using traditional organic practices such as crop rotation, manual weeding, and fertilization with cow manure. Now Joti Kooner and her husband Indy Kooner have six acres of farmland in transition to organic certification with Pro-Cert. They grow a wide range of specialty crops, including round eggplants, okra, marrow, fenugreek and many more. They have many beehives in their fields to support local apiarists, and they get a jump on spring by starting seedlings extra-early in their greenhouse. Don't let the name fool you - this is a Caledon golf gem! Orangeville Golf Club is easy to get to, and a pleasure to play. If you listen carefully, the history of this former industrial valley, with its two railroads, mills, and Hollywood royalty will come to life. Palgrave Forest and Wildlife Area (PFWA) is a 306-hectare greenspace located in Peel Region. Spirit Tree Estate Cidery is a small, community-focused facility in Caledon. The GWFM was founded in 1970 by a group of Brampton Flying Club members. All of the founders were pilots, mostly private but several airline pilots as well. Besides being pilots all absolutely loved aeroplanes and WW1 aeroplanes in particular. The GWFM opens on the Victoria Day long weekend in May and closes in mid Sept. following the grand annual Fly-in and air display. Everyone is welcome, weekends and holidays throughout our season.
