Caledon's Can't-Miss Christmas Events

On the weekend of November 25th, 26th and 27th, visit one (or all) of three Christmas Markets throughout the Town. Visit the charming village of Inglewood for a Christmas Bazaar in support of Bethel Hospice; purchase homemade baking, knitted handicrafts and more. Also in support of Bethel Hospice is Cambium Farms’ second annual Holiday Market, running Friday through Sunday. This event features a 35-vendor artisan market, campfire seating and bar, photo opportunities every day (with professional Santa photos on Sunday) and live music. Saturday night heats up with a Lumberjack-themed dance party in the barn! Third up is the Caledon Christmas Market, hosted at the Alton Legion. Artisan crafts, raffle, baked goods and gift ideas are all on offer at this two-day annual market.

The first weekend of December is set to kick the month off in style! December 2nd, head to downtown Bolton for the second annual Ye Olde Tyme Christmas (think Christmas Block Party) and walk inside a giant snow globe, pose for photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, sing along with carolers and fill your belly with cool food truck eats while you shop at over 50 market vendor booths! On Saturday, join the Bolton Kin as Santa Claus closes down highway 50 for the return of the Bolton Santa Claus Parade at 11:00 am, including floats from some of Caledon’s creative local businesses and service clubs. On Saturday December 3rd and Sunday December 4th, Mount Alverno Luxury Resorts transforms into Mistletoe Mountain, a winter wonderland of holiday cheer with vendors, ornament and cookie decorating, and a visit with Santa himself.

Board the Christmas wagon or take a short nature-inspired hike along our Christmas Trail to the Festive Forest, and join Letha the Forgetful Elf on a tour of the North Pole! Have fun with interactive, outdoor stations, get green Christmas ideas – and of course, enjoy a visit with Santa! The Forgetful Elf: A Christmas Experience has something for everyone, so you don't want to miss it. This is a ticketed event taking place on December 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th at Albion Hills Conservation Park. Be sure to visit TRCA's website for more information.
