Maple Syrup in the Park
Experience the Canadian tradition of maple syrup production through interactive demonstrations and kids activities at Terra Cotta Conservation Area. Explore the outdoors as you take a wagon ride to the sugarbush. End your visit with a pancake breakfast with real maple syrup and a treat from the Park Store. Enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities, including: NEW! Take a trackless train ride that’s fun for the whole family. Explore historical and modern demonstrations of maple syrup production. Explore the sugarbush and watch how sap is collected. Fireside Chats: See a traditional sweat lodge (Madoodiswan) and learn how Indigenous Peoples honor Mother Earth’s sacred connection to healing. Listen to traditional helpers (Oshkaabewis) while a fire keeper shares stories and songs that reflect our responsibilities to the land. Play giant games and get creative with the Maple Mural colouring activity. Purchase a maple taffy treat. Go on a storybook walk, participate in our Maple Mystery Challenge, and more! Sap to Syrup: A Maple Syrup Making Experience
Turn sap into sweet maple syrup during this hands-on experience in the sugar shack at Terra Cotta Conservation Area. Discover how to identify and tap sugar maple trees, collect sap and use an evaporator to make maple syrup. Learn how to measure sugar content and grade maple syrup. Taste different grades of syrup before preparing your own bottle of maple syrup to take home. Space is limited with 10 tickets per tour. Must be aged 14 years and older to attend. There are two time slots available: 10 a.m. to noon or 2 to 4 p.m. on April 4, 5, 11 and 12. Registration Required.

Lamplight: Maple Syrup After Dark
Enjoy a night time Maple Syrup Experience at Terra Cotta’s Illuminated Sugarbush April 11, 2026 7:30 to 9 p.m. or 9 to 10:30 p.m. Step into the magical world of maple syrup after dark. Lamplight: Maple Syrup After Dark invites adults ages 19 and older to enjoy an evening adventure through the forest at Terra Cotta Conservation Area on the educational night wagon ride. Experience an illuminated sugarbush, savour a maple cocktail or mocktail tasting, food, and unwind with outdoor live music in a cozy outdoor setting. Tickets available for $70. Registration required.

RBC Canadian Open
TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley in Caledon is thrilled to be the host of the 2026 RBC Canadian Open. The RBC Canadian Open is so much more than a sporting event. Canada’s National Men’s Open Golf Championship is a festival golf experience for spectators of all ages. The RBC Canadian Open has miles of front row seating. All tickets provide you access to the grounds and enable you to get an up-close look at your favourite PGA TOUR stars.

Caledon Day
The Town of Caledon is excited to present the 17th annual Caledon Day on Saturday, June 20th, 2026 at the Caledon East Community Complex. Connecting our communities since 2008, this free community event brings together the best of Caledon and provides an opportunity to celebrate together as a community!
