Belfountain

Settled circa 1825

Belfountain is a picturesque Hamlet on the Forks of the Credit Road. You will discover a beautiful conservation area with historic sites, trails and a swing bridge. (Please note: Belfountain Conservation Area is now CLOSED for the winter season.)

Top off your day with an ice cream, exquisite baked treat or coffee at Higher Ground Cafe or The Common Good.

South of Belfountain on Mississauga Road you will discover the Melville White Church, a beautifully restored and maintained building and cemetery dating to 1837. Book the Church for your wedding or attend an event at this interesting venue.

Why not extend your stay in Caledon, there are accommodations to suit every taste and price point. The beautiful and historic Millcroft Inn and Spa is nearby in Alton, and there are a number of exceptional BnBs close by.

Please remember that Caledon's villages are also home to residents who are in, and close to, the business district.
