Alton Mill Arts Centre

National award-winning restoration and conversion of an 1880s stone mill into an arts centre. Visitors can discover and purchase art, fine crafts, jewellery and clothing from artists and artisans in working studios or from one of our galleries or shops. Develop your own skills in one of our artists' many workshops, classes or painting parties.

Artful Caledon

Artful Caledon is Caledon Public Library’s (CPL) creative initiative for expression of visual, literary, music and performing arts. It offers spaces for local creatives of all ages to promote their works both in-person and virtually. Experience Caledon’s artists, authors and musicians at one of CPLs seven branches, participate in workshops and special events and visit the virtual platform; it is a great way to enjoy, learn and connect. Caledon Townhall Players Theatre

The Caledon Townhall Players (CTHP) had their first performance of “Angels Unawares” in June 1962 in the Old Townhall, in the Village of Caledon. Subsequently, a series of short-term leases to continue use of the building were drawn up between CTHP and the Town of Caledon, and they have been presenting live theatre productions in that venue ever since. Enjoy live community theatre in the heart of Caledon!

Cory Trepanier Art

Downtown Bolton BIA

The Downtown Bolton Business Improvement Area was established over 30 years ago by provincial statute and a by-law of the Town of Caledon. Its purpose is to improve and beautify downtown Bolton, to promote it as a vibrant business and shopping area and to support local seasonal events in the Downtown. Funding for the activities of the BIA comes from a special levy on the taxes charged to commercial property owners and businesses in the downtown area. The BIA arranges for floral displays in summer and seasonal decorations throughout the year.

Headwaters Arts

The Headwaters Arts Gallery is operated by Headwaters Arts volunteers and is located in the historic Alton Mill Arts Centre. The Gallery is open year round and features the work of local emerging and award-winning artists, in addition to member shows throughout the year (including the reknowned annual Headwaters Arts Fall Festival). It is the perfect destination for art lovers and those wishing to purchase something unique and handmade.

Martina Lesar Rug Hooking Studio

Discover the timeless tradition of rug hooking at the Martina Lesar Hooked Rug Studio located in the hills of Caledon, Ontario in Canada. The studio offers an exceptional selection of rug hooking wool fabric, patterns, supplies, as well as rug hooking classes, and their collections of exclusive wool fabric, yarns and unique fibers continues to expand. They offer an excellent variety for fiber artists working in rug hooking, needle punch, quilting and other textile arts.

Paul Morin Gallery

Visit this 1877 former church-turned-gallery space, lovingly restored and rebuilt by artist-owner Paul Morin. Learning traditional stone, brick, plaster and glazed window restoration, he has spent 3 years renovating the building. The high ceilings and unique interior layout provide the perfect place to experience his art. It is also a wonderful acoustic space ideal for weddings, concerts, corporate events and film screenings.

Temple of Eris Blacksmith Studio

With a storefront studio and working blacksmith's shop, artist and blacksmith Jason Duclos offers a special and uncommon experience at the Temple of Eris. Gifts and decor, art and sculpture, jewelry, fine knives, custom wrought iron and restoration and sharpening work. Located in the heritage livery at the at the Alton Mill Arts Centre.

The Great War Flying Museum (GWFM)

The GWFM was founded in 1970 by a group of Brampton Flying Club members. All of the founders were pilots, mostly private but several airline pilots as well. Besides being pilots all absolutely loved aeroplanes and WW1 aeroplanes in particular. The GWFM opens on the Victoria Day long weekend in May and closes in mid Sept. following the grand annual Fly-in and air display. Everyone is welcome, weekends and holidays throughout our season. Bring your cameras, children and grandparents.

The Hive Encaustic Studio

The Hive encaustic studio is a working studio space shared by Karen Brown and Kim Kool, running workshops both privately and in partnership with other artists, community agencies and charitable organizations. Encaustic is a beeswax based paint that usually consists of beeswax, damar resin and/or other additives that are highly individual to each artist’s methods - explore this incredible medium in 'The Hive's' scenic mill studio location in the village of Alton.
