Fall Colours

How to enjoy responsibly

Caledon is fortunate to have many beautiful parks, trails and scenic areas. And we are glad that you are visiting us. But as with many scenic areas in the GTA, Caledon’s roads, villages and parks have been under stress because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the extraordinary number of visitors that are coming to Caledon.

We expect this fall to be even busier than ever as people explore the outdoors. For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, we ask you to obey a few basic rules:

Traffic

We recommend you visit on weekdays, as you will most likely experience traffic delays on weekends and extremely limited parking.  See the “Plan before you go” section below.

Parking

Please watch for “No Parking” and “No Stopping” signs. Parking is strictly enforced.

Private Property

Please respect private property. If you are looking for public washrooms and other facilities, please consult our trails map.

Litter

Help keep Caledon beautiful and dispose of waste appropriately or take it with you.

Plan before you go

If you plan to visit one of the parks or conservation areas in Caledon, please check ahead as reservations are required in many locations:
