Take a peaceful retreat to Belfountain Estates, a scenic and sustainable farm nestled in the Niagara Escarpment. This carbon sink property is rooted in eco-friendly practices and features beautiful vineyards, lavender fields, and surrounding forest. Their farm gate shop offers a selection of seasonal goods, including fresh produce, eggs, honey, lavender bouquets, and more. The farm is also home to cows, ducks, chickens, sheep, and pigs, which can be seen as part of their guided farm tours. To protect the land and ensure a low-impact experience, animal visits are available by appointment only through small group tours. 

Belfountain Conservation Area

Step into both nature and history when you enter Belfountain Conservation Area. This park is one of the most stunning spaces in Caledon. Take a walk on the suspension bridge that overlooks a rushing waterfall, or perhaps hike through the Niagara Escarpment. The historical features of this park include the terrace, Yellowstone Cave and the “belle” fountain which is over 100 years old. Belfountain Conservation Area was recently restored to help protect and manage the natural and cultural heritage of the property. Spirit Tree Estate Cidery

Tucked away in Caledon’s countryside, Spirit Tree began as a dream to create something truly local and sustainable—and it’s now a cidery, bakery, bistro, and farm shop that draws visitors year-round. Sonnen Hill is one of Caledon’s newest breweries, set on a picturesque 37-acre farm that offers a peaceful escape and a perfect pour. Their beers strike a balance between timeless styles and modern techniques, best enjoyed in the cozy taproom or out in the beer garden with views of the surrounding countryside. Wander the grounds and you might spot some of the 200 fruit trees planted for future brews.
