How Do You Like Them Apples?
There are few things sweeter than that first bite of a fresh-picked apple and Caledon has an orchard for every taste this season. Whether you’re stocking up for pie-making or school lunches, planning an outing with the family or searching for a unique date idea, Caledon’s orchards have something for everyone! A wide selection of apple varieties are available throughout the apple-picking season in Caledon - most of which are good for both baking and eating fresh.
Insider tip: Dixie Orchards also offers hazelnut picking! Starting in mid-October, this rare treat is harvested in its hard shell and papery husk. How cool would it be to add locally-grown roasted or raw hazelnuts to your fall menu?
We’ve created a cheat-sheet below to help you find the right orchard destination(s) for you. These orchards are also memorable destinations for pumpkin picking and many even have corn mazes!
