2. Leaf Peeping and Hiking

Autumn hiking is a fan favourite, and how could it not be? With the vibrant colours of the trees and the leaves crunching under your feet, the fall vibes are high. A walk in the woods is a must-do to check off your fall bucket list. Caledon has a variety of terrain, ranging from the Niagrara Escarpment, meadows, wetlands, badlands and more. One of our favourite ways to celebrate the season is in life's simple pleasures...but with a twist. Your daily cup of joe, or sweet treat just entered it's pumpkin spice era. Gather Cafe is serving up Pumpkin Tarts and Pumpkin Spice Lattes you don't want to miss. Over at Coywolf Coffee, they're sipping on Toffee Maple Lattes and Cinnamon Bun Matchas. For an ICONIC Caledon treat, try the Pumpkin Donuts at Downey's Farm. Now this is a bucket list item that surely everyone can check off with ease!

4. Pick Your Pumpkin

A classic fall tradition for many households is picking your own pumpkin! However, it's rarely about the pumpkin you end up with...it's about the experience. Throw on a cozy sweater, head out to a scenic farm, and take a wagon ride to the patch. Smiles from ear to ear and pictures snapping away, it's a memory you'll have forever. Cycling is another fan favourite of local Caledonians, and we think our visitors need to see what the fuss is all about (especially in fall)! It's a unique way to see both the colourful trees, as well as different shops throughout Caledon. Follow our Caledon Trailway path by bike and you'll cross bridges and rivers, as well as pedal through small villages and hamlets. Pop off the trailway to discover cafes, restaurants, shops and more.
